Nicolas Ghesquiere presented his new travel-inspired womenswear collection in a majestic installation near Paris.

As Summer approaches, Nicolas Ghesquire, Artistic Director of Women’s collections at Louis Vuitton, presented his Louis Vuitton Cruise Collection 2022 to a virtual audience today. Ghesquire selected “Axe Majeur”, a breathtaking installation by Dani Karavan in Cergy-Pontoise, France as the destination for a show encompassing themes of a bold beginning, imaginary portals, singular geometry and a utopian vision. Historically rooted in travel, Louis Vuitton’s Cruise Collection 2022 brilliantly incorporates vibrant colors that trigger images of a tropical resort alongside silhouettes and shapes which suggest a retro space travel influence.
